The Jira version updates as you type.

Step 3

Paste into Jira

Use the text editor mode in Jira or Confluence and paste the markup.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work with Confluence too?

Yes. Confluence wiki markup uses the same syntax as Jira for these elements.

Where do I paste the output in Jira Cloud?

Jira Cloud’s editor converts much of this automatically when pasted. For exact results, use the API or the legacy text mode, or Jira Server/Data Center’s text editor.

Are code block languages kept?

Yes. ```js becomes {code:js}, so Jira applies syntax highlighting.

Is my text uploaded?

No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser.
