Preview the rendered table, then copy or download the Markdown.
Frequently asked questions
Can I paste from Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Copied cells arrive as tab-separated text, which the converter detects automatically.
What happens to commas and pipes inside cells?
Quoted CSV fields keep their commas, and pipe characters are escaped so they do not break the Markdown table.
Is the first row used as the header?
Yes. GitHub Flavored Markdown tables require a header row, so the first row of your data becomes the header.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser.
